What is your background and education?
Years of being employed after graduating high school. Did get some college in.

What are your areas of expertise in the accounting/bookkeeping field?
I’ve only done a little bookkeeping early on in my employment history, but not much afterwards.

Any certifications or awards?
Received certificates/awards for my craftiness with regards to one employer I was with – re: my coming up with some time/money saving ideas at the time.

What service are you passionate about in accounting field?
Never really had a “passion” for accounting. Worked with attorneys for a huge chunk of time, then with a liquor distributor for another huge chunk of time, … then sometime in the insurance field, … and to be honest – seeing as I plan to retire in the coming year, … (after spending the last of my employment years with Schneiter & Moad now JTC CPAs) … my passion will be retirement soon.

What is a quote you like to live by?
After tackling Breast Cancer several years ago, followed by knee replacement surgery shortly thereafter (both knees), …. one quote comes to mind, “It is what it is” became my battle cry, if you will, because no amount of complaining (a waste of energy) was going to change things.
